How do I use a slider for this survey demonstration?
Those horizontal bars you see below for interacting with this page are called sliders. It is a type of control that is often used in computer interfaces but has not been readily available in Web forms until now!

This design and other interactive designs can be used for development of scales for quality-of-life, time-trade-off, standard gamble and willingness-to-pay assessments. The user just clicks on the slider to release it, and then moves the cursor along the track and the slider follows along! Another click locks the slider in place along the bar. Try it out!
